Per-contributor seat, where a contributor is any user or bot that pushed an analyzed commit, uploaded coverage or logged in within a rolling 30 days. Deployment: saas. Platforms: github. No BYOK. Pro is $20/contributor/mo annual, and the free plan is now a real plan rather than just a CLI.

@@ verdict @@opinion
1The free tier is the interesting part: unlimited public and private contributors, with analysis minutes rather than seats as the thing that runs out. Pro at $20 is mid-market rather than the bargain the $10 figure implied, and the GitHub-only constraint is harder than it looks.
@@ buyer fit @@who this is for
1+GitHub teams replacing Code Climate Quality
2+Teams that want coverage, maintainability, security scanning and AI review on one bill
3+Small teams that can live inside 1,000 analysis minutes a month on the free plan
@@ watch out @@what to verify
1-$20/contributor/mo annual and $24 monthly, not the $10 that older comparisons carry
2-GitHub only. Qlty Cloud installs as a GitHub App and identifies seats by GitHub login; GitLab appears only as a CI provider for coverage uploads
3-A contributor is any user or bot that pushed an analyzed commit, uploaded coverage or logged in within 30 days, so bots that open PRs are billable
4-Analysis minutes, not seats, are the real cap: 1,000 free, 20,000 on Pro, 75,000 on Enterprise
5-No self-hosted Qlty Cloud is published

commit aabbcc1-OWS-2026-09-22
Re-verified Qlty pricing
The $10 Team seat we published no longer exists. The published ladder is Free at $0, Pro at $20/contributor/mo annual ($24 monthly) and Enterprise at $30/contributor/mo annual ($36 monthly). Enterprise is a self-serve list price now rather than a sales quote, with invoiced billing available above $10k a year and volume discounts from 100 seats.
@@ footnote @@aux
1Qlty Cloud installs as a GitHub Application and seats are identified by GitHub login, so GitHub is the only source-control provider it supports. GitLab appears in the docs only as a CI provider for uploading coverage, which is not the same thing. No self-hosted Qlty Cloud is published; the free Qlty CLI is the part that runs locally. Analysis minutes, not just seats, are what the plans actually ration.
